Yoga for Postnatal Recovery
The postnatal period is one of great change and adjustment
This session aims to offer you a safe, and supportive environment in which to enjoy yoga and meet other new mums
Postnatal yoga aims to be gentle and therapeutic, with focus on providing ease and comfort, as well as stabilising and toning practices for the pelvis, abdomen and back
The little ones will hopefully enjoy some integrated practices with rhythmic movement and passive stretches
The class is very informal so babies can be soothed or sleep as they so desire
The session will close with relaxation, tea and chat

This lovely venue is warm, cosy, and carpeted
with all equipment supplied,
including changing mat,wipes and nappy sacks!
It is located next to the Amblehurst Hotel.
Mums tend to park and sling it to the studio, or there is space to leave prams under the external stairs.
Parking is available down Oaklands Drive, or behind Mecca Bingo.
Avoid parking around the studio as there is a private car park attendant in operation :(

These sessions can be started 4-6 weeks post normal vaginal delivery and
10-12 weeks post section.
Listen to your body and you will know when it feels right for you to start, don't rush.
